The aim of this book is to provide for the second year of college Spanish a thorough review of the essentials of Spanish grammar, including of standard vocabulary and idioms appropriate to that level of instruction. Based on wellknown word, idiom, and syntax counts, as were our previous successful texts, the present text is offered in the conviction that the results of frequency investigation furnish an indispensable minimum of materials for mastery during the first two years of foreign language study, either in a terminal course or as the foundation for further study.
