This is the fourth of the Symposia to have its proceedings published as a book by the RSC.
The Symposium is run by the Radiochemistry Group of the RSC and is held every four years. Its scope has changed gradually over the years and, from an initial focus on analytical methods for environmental samples, it has now expanded to include studies of environmental source terms, transport pathways and impacts.
